Listen to it daily several times. (Not while driving.)
Call your local hospitals, clinic, YWCA and attend
their Stop Smoking Clinic.
You will be amazed how listening to a Respiratory Therapist can change your outlook on smoking.
Make an appointment with your physician. Have a complete physical and get your physician’s recommendation for exercise.
Do not take over the counter medicine and patches without your physician’s approval.
Exercise on a regular basis. This is a tremendous help.
Listen to different music, talk or sport stations.
Try a new sport. Play basketball again.
Take up bowling, billiards, roller skating, swimming, cards, bingo, weaving.
Go to the gym. Visit the YWCA.
Involve your family and fellow workers. Ask for their support.
If they smoke, get them to join you in this total life changing adventure.
